Catastrophe Research Analyst -Early Career Opportunity to Move into R&D

A well-known Lloyd's Syndicate is looking for a Research Analyst to join their London-based Catastrophe R&D function. This is an excellent opportunity for a Catastrophe Modeller or Exposure Management Analyst to move into a research and development role normally reserved to candidates with 5+ years of traditional Catastrophe Risk experience.

In this role, the successful candidate will work on catastrophe models and undertake research topics to manage catastrophe risks across all natural perils. The ideal candidate will have strong analytic and quantitative skills with experience working with large data sets and programming software such as R, Python, and ArcGIS. Candidates with prior experience conducting post-event analysis and model validation with RMS and/or AIR modelling software will be given preference.
