MERJE are working on an exciting R&D Pricing Manager position with one of the UK’s largest General Insurers.

 

It’s an exciting time to join the business as they look to grow and develop the team with investment and backing from C-Level.

 

The team enjoy high visibility and backing and are on a mission to grow. They are looking for candidates with equal ambition to lead and develop the team. You will take a keen interest in the development of analysts.

Tasks will include:

  • Direct Line management of the newly formed analyst team, reporting directly into the Head of R&D Pricing. Drive the “technical excellence” values within the team by providing optimisation modelling and data science solutions. Work with the Senior Management team to identify commercial opportunities and execute, including new techniques.   Define pricing strategy and implement effective data science techniques. Implement cutting edge technologies and methods.

Requirements:

  • Experience within General Insurance Pricing.   Experience working within pricing optimisation. RADAR and Python experience highly preferred. Ability to work independently and proactively as well as supporting a team Strong oversight, influencing and persuasion skills An ability to react quickly and decisively to problems once identified
