As a wind-up consultant, you will lead your clients through their wind-up journey, working with both Trustee Boards and Sponsoring Employers of UK defined benefit pension schemes.
Providing oversight and direction when both planning for and carrying out scheme wind up projects, you will also prospect for future wind-up cases, helping them plan for their end game.
In addition, you will lead (or support) strategic and technical aspects related to wind ups, e.g. comparing scheme factors to insurer factors, carrying out winding up lump sum exercises, inputting into funding reserves and providing surplus balance sheets.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of related employee benefits issues in order to advise clients on strategy and liaise effectively with other disciplines within the Firm.
Strong communication and influencing skills also essential.

Acting as Scheme Actuary, Corporate Actuary and senior consultant to a portfolio of schemes, you will provide actuarial and other pensions advice to clients on pensions technical and legislative issues.
You will also participate in the development of actuarial policy in relation to occupational pension scheme valuations, financial reporting and pensions legislative developments.
Currently practising as a Scheme Actuary, the successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of delivering consulting advice to trustee and corporate clients.
