Qualified and Part-Qualified De-Risking Transactions Actuary

I am recruiting for three new specialist Pensions De-risking roles which would suit a Qualified Pensions Actuary, a Part-Qualified Actuary and also someone with an actuarial background who is no longer pursuing the exams.

If you are qualified or working towards qualifying, one of my key clients is offering the chance to join its specialist de-risking transactions team which is based across several UK locations. The team advises clients on transactions ranging in size from the low £millions to £multi-billions, and is at the forefront of this market, having led the advice on around 25% bulk annuities and over 80% of longevity swaps by volume in the last year. This is a rare opportunity to work directly with this team from the start, and your interest and desire to specialise in the buy-in/buyout market is far more important than having previous experience beyond more traditional trustee/corporate consulting.

If you are no longer on the FIA qualification path but have strong pensions knowledge and good consulting/project management skills, I have a great role with the Risk Transfer Team of another top consultancy. Stopping the exams doesn't have to mean an end to pay rises, promotions and gaining new experience, and this is one of the best companies in the market in terms of support and career development for the long term.

All roles are available in multiple locations across the UK and offer fantastic flexible/hybrid/home working as well as very competitive salaries. Previous experience in the UK pensions actuarial market is required for these roles but the level of experience is very flexible.
