MERJE are working with a highly acquisitive and growth orientated Life Insurance firm who are looking to recruit a Senior Actuary to join their Internal Model team.

You will work directly with the Head of Internal Model and play a lead role in developing the team and it’s capabilities. Using your experience to mentor the junior actuarial team, guiding towards successful outcomes.
Tasks will include:
- Work with stakeholders across the business to educate and embed appropriate behaviour. Take an active role in leading, mentoring and developing junior actuaries. Develop and maintain methodologies at group level. Lead strategic projects from inception through to completion. Perform deep dives as the business continues to grow, identify areas for change. Support major model changes by acting as the Internal Model SME. Horizon scanning and monitoring of industry best practice.
- Fully qualified actuary with experience in Life Insurance. Significant experience of Solvency II. Knowledge of Internal Model Change process. Experience manging/mentoring junior team members.
Excellent stakeholder management skills up to C-Level.
