Are you an ambitious, qualified actuary and risk expert seeking to develop the next stage of your career within a market-leading insurance group?
Then this is a fantastic opportunity to join the broader Line 2 Asset Management Risk Team as it continues to build its oversight model for the Group's asset management business.
Having responsibility for ensuring that market risks for the shareholder funds are managed within acceptable risk appetite limits, you will conduct Line 2 reviews of ALM proposals. This will include: hedging strategies, rebalancing, and review of market risk appetite and targets.
In addition, you will provide oversight of derivative and collateral management processes while reviewing the Group's risk and control assessments for the market risk policy.
With experience in the finance, actuarial or investment functions of a life insurance company, the successful candidate will possess good knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing insurance companies, in particular those relating to investments.
You will also have an understanding and experience in ALM and investing for good shareholder outcomes, coupled with a good understanding of Solvency II and Matching Adjustment Portfolios in particular.
