Ogden Scott is currently working in partnership with a leading consultancy to recruit a new Capital and Reserving Analyst.

This exciting opportunity requires a part-qualified or qualified GI actuary to contribute to the reserving and capital teams in this leading consultancy. In this key role, you will be responsible for the management of projects from start to finish, manage ongoing client communications and oversee junior associate colleagues working on projects.

You will be undertaking large projects, providing insight to the overall vision of these plans, with the assistance of project leaders. You will also be producing reports with the idea of delivering solutions for senior project leaders, developing a presence with global initiatives to support the delivery of commercially vital functions, and working as a team to prioritise intellectual capital.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to evolve your skills by collaborating with the growing teams of pricing, claims and underwriting, as the company expands too.

The successful candidate will possess experience in general insurance and be able to prove strong knowledge of capital modelling techniques. They will be able to write client proposals in a clear, concise manner, working knowledge of the London Market and its reserving techniques and have a desire to learn and create new ideas for the most effective techniques. It is also desirable to have proficiency in Igloo and ResQ.
