Actuarial Consultant – Life & Pensions – Investment – London – Up to £90,000 + bonus

Gravitas are currently working a role for a newly qualified Actuarial Consultant within their pensions actuarial team. In this role you will have the opportunity to train and review junior actuaries while also working with partners and stakeholders.

This role is with a large life and pensions company that takes pride in aiding their clients to make good decisions by using expert industry experience and exceptional new technology. In this role you will be responsible for assisting consultants in identifying suitable investment strategies, calculating investment performance figures and understanding the basis of transfers of assets between investment managers and liaise with managers during the transfer.

To be considered you should have:

• Extensive pension technical knowledge
• Project management skills including ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent communicating and presenting skills, with the confidence to present ideas to partners in the company
• Reviewing work done by other staff, including both detailed checks and a check for overall reasonableness
• A keen commercial awareness
