Ger has over 30 years' experience practising as an actuary, underwriter, data scientist and risk consultant in both Irish and international insurance markets. He has worked in life and general, domestic and reinsurance, the company market and consultancy. He operated at all levels over his career, from student life actuary, to underwriting director, to head of the non-life arm of a large Irish Actuarial consultancy. He was also very active in the Irish Society of Actuaries, and among other things, had the honour of serving two terms on Council, as well as chair of the general insurance committee. 

As a result, Ger has gained a unique insight into what both employers and actuarial, data scientists and risk professionals are seeking from each other. He has very extensive and trusted contacts both in companies and in the actuarial, data analytics and risk communities.
