Insurance Solutions Actuary

Oliver James are exclusively partnered with an Investments business in their search for an Insurance Solutions Actuary.

This role sits in a newly formed team that will have exposure to both the Life & Investments team and the Asset Management business.

The main purpose of the role is to deliver solutions for Insurers and Defined Benefit pension schemes whilst also building retail products for institutional distribution. This will include:

1) Structuring

2) Product development

3) Pricing

This is a brand new role due to success in the team and the client can be flexible with the background of the candidate. You must however be nearly or newly qualified (up to 5 years PQE).

Experience in bulk annuity transactions or bulk annuity pricing would be beneficial or the development of pensions / investment products. You do however need to understand the impacts on the balance sheet and a working knowledge of Solvency II.

Unforunatly the client can't sponsor for this role and do need UK experience.
