Customer Investment Manager

Leading insurer seeking a Customer Investment Manager to join their UK Life business | London or York office | £45,000-£75,000 + bonus

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading insurer seeking a Customer Investment Manager to join their UK Life business.

You will be responsible for the management and oversight of Customer assets (i.e. Unit Linked and With Profits funds). You will provide strategic asset allocation recommendations, assesses the previous strategies compared to the objectives of the funds, reviews and assesses new investment opportunities and implements any recommendation with our internal or external asset managers.

Role requirements:

• Relevant professional qualification (CFA/IMC) either currently studying towards or with post-qualification experience
• Deep understanding of investment issues and performance drivers relevant to a Life insurance company gained either from an insurance company, consultancy or fund manager
• Strong communicator who is able to build productive relationships
