Job Details

Looking for candidates who are passionate about financial reporting to participate in various workstreams within Actuarial. You will participate in the IFRS 17 implementation for the Company as a key member of the IFRS 17 project team, by contribution of Actuarial expertise and information for the Life Insurance business.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance the models used for IFRS17 calculation (Prophet/DCS/Excel)
  • Provide analysis to support decision-making (business planning, product pricing etc.) on IFRS17 implementation
  • Prepare the data including model, model points and assumptions in an auditable manner for transition runs, and perform financial analysis of the results for the opening CSM balance
  • Produce the opening balance sheet and its documentation in an auditable standard
  • Participate in preparation and analysis of financial impact assessment for IFRS 17
  • Participate in UAT for ETL tools, source system changes and sub-ledger system, including business validation of the IFRS17 reports
  • Drive the development and implementation of the end-to-end IFRS 17 reporting process and control for Actuarial
  • Propose implementation approaches for the technical actuarial aspects of the standard. Contribute to and draft the relevant position papers.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members who are involved in the IFRS 17 project.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years experience
  • Having IFRS 17 implementation experience is a must
  • Proficient in Prophet modeling, strong modeling skills preferred
  • Excellent technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and positive working attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
