Ogden Scott is currently working in partnership with a London Market run off business to recruit a new Capital Analyst.  

This exciting opportunity requires a part-qualified actuarial analyst to act as a key figure in supporting the embedding of the modelling system throughout the organisation. You will contribute to the maintenance and management of the company’s range of portfolios, which will ultimately help the business grow and flourish.

In this pivotal role, you will create and implement machine learning intelligence, interpret model results and model change impacts, and recommend innovative process or modelling improvements to support an efficient generation of model outputs. You will also be undertaking the process of upgrading the modelling platform, optimising the capital process of the company. 

The successful candidate will possess 1-3 years’ experience in the actuarial field, have strong coding and modelling skills and have excellent communication skills. You must also have knowledge of actuarial IT tools and software, with an interest in programmatic approaches, including the use of VBA, R, and capital modelling tools.
