Actuarial Consultant

Ogden Scott is currently working in partnership with a leading consultancy to recruit an Actuarial Consultant.   

This exciting new opportunity requires a part-qualified or nearly newly qualified actuary to act as a key figure in providing comprehensive advice to clients through the use of statistics, contingency plans and through analysing relevant data to help clients choose the best course of action.  

In this pivotal role, you will be working with a portfolio of clients an advising on all actuarial issues. You will provide independent actuarial assessments, including reserve reviews, portfolio transfers and transfer pricing support.

You will be undertaking an active role in the development and growth of the practice including building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, so the successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, experience with customer service and strong organisation skills. You will also need a commercial awareness and be eager to expand knowledge and skills given the broad nature of the work as well as hold 1-3 years of experience within an actuarial function, preferably pricing. 

As this is such a significant role, the successful candidate will have far more flexibility over their advancement, salary and skill development.
