Head of Investment Strategy - Multi-Asset

The Head of Investment Strategy will be mainly responsible for formulating investment strategies for various funds, effectively implementing the strategies, and performing monitoring and due diligence on the performances of fund managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing substantive analysis on asset classes (e.g. equity, fixed income, private assets, other alternatives, etc.) and developing medium- to long-term views on the attractiveness / opportunity of various asset classes; and making recommendations on Strategic Asset Allocation decisions for various insurance funds and shareholder fund.

• Driving the EFM screening, due diligence and ongoing performance analysis to ensure the strategies are properly executed and the performance objectives are met.

• Managing the ALM initiatives, e.g. duration management, hedging, etc., and working with business team to establish investment strategies for specific products.

• Working closely with the asset allocation team in tactical asset allocation (TAA) to add value to overall fund performances.

Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years of highly relevant investment analytics and/or asset allocation experiences, preferably in the 'buy-side' institutions such as mutual fund, pension fund, insurance company, etc.

• Critical thinking on multi-asset fund investment, knowledge of the full gamut of asset classes, including familiarity with both traditional and alternative strategies, is strongly preferred.
