Senior Catastrophe Modelling Analyst - £45,000 + Bonus

A leading insurer is looking for a Senior Catastrophe Modelling Analyst to join their London-based office. This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Catastrophe Modeller or Exposure Management Analyst to move into a more senior role with less data cleansing and more interaction with underwriters.

This role will focus on Property and Energy lines and will look at bigger picture projects instead of day-to-day pricing and roll-ups. In this team, the data cleansing is outsourced and the successful candidate will work on even response, managing underwriter relationships, project work (model evaluation, research, and process improvement), and regulatory work.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years within Catastrophe Risk, experience using RMS or AIR, and strong SQL skills with preference given to candidates with additional programming languages (R for example).
