pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find a qualified Actuary to create the financial reporting team of a start-up business.
Our client is a start-up sub division of a larger insurer group who have begun to sell insurance products to a range of new territories. Working within this start-up, you will have responsibility for the creation and running of the corporate actuarial team focusing on financial reporting, analysis and communication of results to senior leaders. The role will involve building the team, establishing effective reserving processes, implementation of effective data systems, hiring of an Actuarial team and commercial input i.e capital requirements for new products.
The role would suit a qualified Actuary with the ability to drive the build and delivery of an effective financial reporting function (Solvency II).
The role can be based from London, Bournemouth or remotely.
