Graduate Pricing Analyst

Our client, a leading insurer of motor solutions is looking for a graduate Pricing Analyst to support the Customer Pricing team. The incoming analyst will play a key part in the quarterly pricing rounds and will take responsibility for delivering the pricing process, including setting prices on a portfolio of vehicles to ensure the quality and sustainability of prices across various leasing schemes. This role would allow the incoming candidate to proactively manage a portfolio of vehicles, whilst providing industry insight to aid the analysis of pricing as well as identifying opportunities to improve the schemes pricing.
 
Key responsibilities will include offering actionable insights to influence decision making and delivering financially sustainable results to customers and vehicle manufacturers. You will aid with the delivery of all pricing processes, including price setting, whilst actively contributing to the maintenance of pricing data across the business. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the wider business (including Risk teams), to assess the commercial viability of proposed pricing plans and supporting with negotiations.
 
The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical graduate, holding a numerate degree (or equivalent). Knowledge of using statistical methods to describe or make inferences about data would be highly desirable, as would the ability to interpret data by producing reports and presenting findings face-to-face. The ability to work independently, and intellectual curiosity to learn about how organisations function would be essential to the role.
