ERM Senior Analyst/Qualified Actuary

Senior Analyst/Qualified Actuary - Life - Risk - Scotland - Up to £65,000

This company is looking for either a Senior Analyst or a Qualified Actuary to work with both stakeholders and customers while working directly under a Risk Specialist.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework, including risk policies and standards
• Support bottom up, top down and emerging reports for teams
• Support enterprise wise stress and scenario testing framework and coordination
• Advise finance on content relating to risk and uncertainties in the annual report and accounts of the company's legal entities
• Make suggestion for improvements to the work of the team, based on pressing experiences and knowledge of similar situations

Key Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience with Solvency II
• Working knowledge of financial and non - financial stresses
• Working knowledge of financial services regulating and legislating frameworks
• Working knowledge of life, pension, investment products, markets and competitors essential
• Ability to work with the immediate team and broader Risk Compliance function while also having the ability to work independently
• Experience in ORSA, Risk Identification, developing Risk Management Frameworks, taking broad spectrum data and presenting to senior management and asset management and insurance markets all desirable qualities
• Ability to work within the UK
