Our client is seeking a part-qualified non-life actuary (or talented graduate) to assist in producing appropriate actuarial reserving estimates of appropriate levels of IBNR, and analysis in the uncertainty around the central estimate.
In this exciting career development opportunity, you will assist in maintaining and upgrading the existing actuarial and statistical models, and research, develop and implement new actuarial and statistical models
You will also develop and embed the in-house reserving process on YOA, GAAP and Solvency II bases.
An expert user of Microsoft Excel, the successful candidate will have good knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and/or SQL.
Some reserving knowledge and experience is desirable, as is experience with reserving software ResQ.
