Ogden Scott is currently working in partnership with a London Market run off business to recruit a new Reserving Analyst.  

This exciting new opportunity requires a part-qualified or nearly newly qualified actuarial analyst to join a company who are bringing new business onboard and need a passionate individual who is looking to become part of a pivotal project for the organisation. 

In this key role, you will be responsible for assisting with the reserve reviews of portfolios within Lloyd’s syndicates, UK and international companies.

You will be assisting with the quarterly and ah-hoc reserve reports, that will include deep dive and detail analysis, as well as the comparison of actual v expected results.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to progress with the company as it expands and develops in this period of rapid growth that the business is currently going through. They offer excellent career progression opportunity, providing support to their team and welcoming innovative ideas.

The successful candidate will possess experience in non-life insurance and have excellent communication skills. They will be able to provide detailed technical analysis, have the ability tow rok collaboratively as a team and be highly motivated to meet deadlines when necessary. It is also necessary to have knowledge of various IT tools including Excel, Access, Word and databases, and knowledge of ResQ would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
