Ogden Scott is currently working in partnership with a leading consultancy to recruit a new Pricing Analyst.

This exciting new opportunity requires a part-qualified or nearly newly qualified actuary to act as a key figure in driving the evolution and growth of the company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation who are looking to support and innovate processes across their global sites. 

In this pivotal role, you will be working to support commercials and loss ratio targets, in line with Data Science, Claims, Tech and Marketing in the rapidly evolving business. 

You will be undertaking the creating of pricing models with a focus on demand modelling, supporting the pricing and reserve activities and assisting with the reserve quarterly deep dives into methodology, assumptions, and development patterns. 

In addition, you be expected to build strong relationships with the company’s underwriting partners as well as deliver transparent reporting and management information with the team for the Board, investor packs and monthly finance meetings.  

The successful candidate will possess 1-2 years' experience in in an actuarial or data science role. It will be helpful to have an understanding of the dynamics of personal lines insurance, as well as some knowledge of SQL.
