Job Details
pmactuarial specialise in Actuarial search within UK Life insurance. We have been asked to find an Actuarial student/nearly qualified Actuary for a 12 month contract.
The contractor will be responsible for running Actuarial models using the proxy models within the capital reporting field. There will also be some ad-hoc investigative work required.
The ideal candidate will be progressing through their Actuarial exams with circa 1 to 2 years’ experience as this is defined as a more junior level role.
Also a good working knowledge of some form of Actuarial modelling software – Risk Agility would be a nice to have. Experience of coding in any language is also required as they will be working with large data sets.
• Strong MS Excel skills are a must-have for the role.
The role will require 2 days a week working from either the Edinburgh or the Wythall office.
