Major insurer has a fantastic leadership position for a qualified life actuary, ideally with some exposure to General Insurance, to take the lead on the Risk Oversight Plan for Financial Reporting.
Acting as the single point of contact for matters relating to Financial Reporting, you will provide independent risk views, value-adding insight and sound business understanding of risks relating to Financial Reporting.
You will also contribute to risk opinion and insights including Group and entity level IFRS related reporting linking to the Operating Plan and Solvency II reporting and other insurance related Financial Reporting activities.
A technical actuary with good P&L balance sheet knowledge, the successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of all key risk types as they relate to insurance and banking, alongside advanced knowledge and application of risk management best practices across all risk classes.
In addition, you will possess proven experience in insurance company operations including Solvency II and own risk and solvency assessment (ORSA).
