Senior Catastrophe Analyst

Up to £70,000 + Bonus

A prominent London based insurer is looking for a Senior Catastrophe Analyst to join their Reinsurance and Exposure Management Team. In this role you will support management of exposures across all lines of business.

The ideal candidate will have existing experience in property, portfolio roll-up, MI design, and Lloyd's regulatory reporting experience. They will also possess advanced data manipulation and analytical capabilities, having worked with SQL, R, Python or similar.

Primary responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing existing models as well as developing new exposure management techniques for non-modelled territories.

The role includes working closely with underwriters to interpret cat model-based analyses, communicating any findings of exposure data analyses. Therefore, confidence in presenting information effectively is desirable.
