Job Details

A multinational leader in reinsurance solutions is looking for a nearly or newly qualified actuary to join them as a Structured Reinsurance Actuary. About the position

This role will report to the Executive Manager of Structured Reinsurance. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:  

  • Developing bespoke reinsurance solutions to meet client criteria  
  • Underwriting, pricing and supporting new transactions 
  • Liaising with various teams to ensure reinsurance transactions are implemented correctly 
  • Monitoring the regulatory frameworks  
  • Communicating proposals and results to senior management and clients 

Actuarial Skills Required 

The successful candidate will be a nearly or newly qualified actuary with strong communication skills. Previous reinsurance, life or pensions experience is required. Knowledge of the Solvency II regulatory landscape for life insurance is desired. Suitable candidates will have strong analytical skills and be comfortable managing relationships with key stakeholders.
