Ogden Scott is currently working in partnership with a leading London Market insurer to recruit a new Pricing Analyst.

This exciting opportunity requires a part-qualified or nearly newly qualified pricing analyst to act as a key figure in driving the evolution and growth of the company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation who are looking to support and innovate processes across their global sites.

In this pivotal role, you will be closely with the underwriters and pricing team to propose and implement pricing plans for this rapidly evolving business.

You will be undertaking the creation of pricing models with a focus on demand modelling, supporting the pricing and reserve activities. You will also be identifying and assessing strategic growth opportunities to fully understand the market, and how the company can grow in line with trends and demands.

In addition, you be expected to build strong relationships with the company’s underwriting partners as well as deliver comprehensive reporting and management information with the team through the analysis and application of actuarial pricing techniques.

The successful candidate will possess experience in an actuarial or data science role. It will be helpful to have an understanding of the dynamics of general insurance pricing.
