Job Details
Opportunity for a senior data scientist to join a leading Actuarial & Analytics department reporting to the Head of Data Science.
This is a newly created role, where you will provide support and lead to Actuaries/Analysts building highly-analytical and innovative pricing models. The role will also be part of the strategy and also assisting with the develop of the wider infrastructure regionally/nationally.
This role includes responsibility for; Building and maintaining data pipelines to support machine learning and pricing models; Prototyping infrastructure in sandpit environments; Designing and productionizing models and the production of deployment pipelines using GitLab.
The successful candidate will have experience of designing and implementing production ML models. The ability to produce production-level code in at least one language (e.g. Python, C#, Java, etc.) and extensive SQL experience.
