Pricing & Research Actuary – Reinsurer – London – Up to £105,000

This global reinsurer is looking for a qualified pricing and research actuary to join their creative and collaborative team. The role is based in the company’s life/health insurance department, where you will be given the opportunity to work with both individual and group businesses.

This role includes:

• Performing research to decide upon general pricing bases
• Interacting with and supporting clients
• Undertaking analysis investigations
• Leading presentations

Some key requirements:

• Qualified actuary with Protection Pricing experience – ideally 4-5 years is desirable – this can be Group Protection or, Individual Protection
• Proficient coding skills in VBA, SQL and R
• Capable of explaining technically complex information to non-technical individuals
