Actuarial Analyst (Actuarial exams not required)

Leading mid-sized consultancy seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their team in Glasgow | Actuarial exams not required | £30,000-£35,000 + bonus

Oliver James are pleased to be working with a leading mid-sized consultancy seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their team in Glasgow.

Within this role you will be responsible for preparing actuarial calculations, including key elements of funding valuations, accounting reports and data manipulation.

Role requirements:

• Proven numerical, analytical or data manipulation skills, ideally gained in a financial services or other commercial environment (pensions consultancy as a preference)
• Experience of using R and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar package (e.g. VBA)
• Actuarial exams are not required- CAA qualification however, will be covered by the business

This is an excellent technical role with a leading pensions consultancy that could open up many opportunities to move laterally within the business. This is an excellent role for aspiring actuaries not wanting to sit their actuarial exams.
