Job Details
Reinsurance company has an opening for a reserving actuary. The business is in start up mode so we are looking for a hands on individual who is excited about being part of a new business and everything that this will involve. You will be primarily responsible for the reserving and ideally will have experience of TPs and IFRS17 as the business is UK listed. In addition there is scope to get involved in capital / pricing work once the reserving is fully set up and automated - currently set up on Excel but likely to move to Tyche or ResQ as the business grows. You will report into the Chief Actuary and have direct access to C suite. The role can be based in Bermuda or alternatively the individual can be based in the UK with a view to moving over at some point. Ideally we are searching for a permanent hire but reserving contractors will be considered as well.
