Actuarial life contractor: Financial Reporting improvement

Would you be interested in a role leading a workstream to optimise reporting processes on a major finance change project - the wider scope of which will run for 2-3 years (so plenty of chances for extensions). The role is to remove the manual reserve aspect of their model runs. The existing model run captures numbers but adjustments are needed in the model. Rather than adding those in on the end, they want to build those into the model and streamline the model. You would help to specify what model changes are needed to build that into the model and be in involved in overseeing the build and testing of this. Whilst some development work experience is desirable this is not a role for a developer, and is more pitched at someone from with prior financial reporting experience to lead on these financial reporting improvements.

They need someone who can start by June.

It will probably be a 9 month contract. This piece of work is one part of a wider actuarial transformation projects. Someone who has seen Prophet before is desirable. This is a workstream of finance change, but is quite an independent role. There'll be weekly or fortnightly catchups with the SME for the workstream. They want someone to take a lead on this particular piece of work. A student will be supporting you.

They would like someone who has lead a project like this before for process improvements.
