Actuarial Reserving Analyst - A growing team with recent influential hires

Fairbank Partners are looking to recruit an Actuarial Analyst to join our client and assist in the reserving process for the UK and International entities as well as the Lloyd's Syndicates.

Key accountabilities & deliverables

- Assist with full actuarial reserve reviews of portfolios within Lloyd’s syndicates, UK and International Companies

- Assist with quarterly & ad-hoc reserve reviews including deep dive or detailed analysis and actual v expected comparisons

- Assist with calculation of Solvency II Technical Provisions data and Solvency II standard formula as required

- Make good progress towards actuarial qualification

- In addition to the above key responsibilities, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably require

Education & experience

- 1-3 years of reserving experience for Non-Life business,

- Partially qualified actuary

- Excellent communication skills in order to work closely with various departments including Finance, Claims, Capital Modelling, IT.

- Good data management skills

- Good knowledge of MS-Excel, Access and VBA

- Some knowledge of sequel and R preferred

- Knowledge of ResQ reserving software would be beneficial.
