Senior Risk Actuary, be part of a growing function. Influential Role

Fairbank Partners client are looking for a Senior Actuary to join their Risk Management function to contribute with the Internal Model Validation, which will include deep dives, taking a lead on the validation, and also contributing to other areas of the validation report, such as P&L reports, ORSA, Risk Management 

Further involvement will be specifically with the Reporting and Governance, or ORSA side. Paying a huge role in the preparation and management of the ORSA. 

From a Governance perspective, key elements will be contributing to the production of the ad hoc reporting from the RM team, which involves lots of stakeholder management with the likes of the board, regulators and other stakeholders. 

You will also assist in the development and maintenance of a clear risk appetite framework. Ensuring that there is an effective risk culture across the company. 

This is a senior role, you will be in charge of final meetings, so a lot of senior stakeholder management experience ideal. 

To support the RM team and the RM Strategy, this will include contributing to the definition and delivery of the annual risk plan as well as other areas of risk for review. Note, you'll also more junior members of the team. 

To be considered, we are looking for someone with extensive post qualified experience, or those qualified extensively by experience. To put into context, ideally a total experience of 8 years +. A Capital background with some validation experience is highly preferable.
