Longevity Transactions Actuary

Experience required:

• Nearly or newly qualified actuary or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of longevity risk and projections
• Knowledge of market for longevity risk transfer, ideally including knowledge of typical structures and contractual provisions
• Experience of complex projects and working within multi-discipline teams
• High level Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Strong commercial acumen is key.

Joining our client as a Longevity Transactions Actuary you will responsible for managing longevity transactions from origination to final contract execution. You will be part of a small team based in London but have a global remit.

Supporting the origination & structuring of longevity transactions your duties will include:

• Developing our clients longevity reinsurance proposition
• Preparing responses to tender documents, including interpreting client needs and describing commercial terms
• Running longevity projects from inception to final completion
• Maintaining the transaction pipeline, including internal reporting
• Attending external meetings and liaising with clients
• Supporting work within the longevity pricing team
