Job Details
Experience required:
- Nearly or newly qualified actuary or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of longevity risk and projections
- Knowledge of market for longevity risk transfer, ideally including knowledge of typical structures and contractual provisions
- Experience of complex projects and working within multi-discipline teams
- High level Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong commercial acumen is key.
Joining our client as a Longevity Transactions Actuary you will responsible for managing longevity transactions from origination to final contract execution. You will be part of a small team based in London but have a global remit.
Supporting the origination & structuring of longevity transactions your duties will include:
- Developing our clients longevity reinsurance proposition
- Preparing responses to tender documents, including interpreting client needs and describing commercial terms
- Running longevity projects from inception to final completion
- Maintaining the transaction pipeline, including internal reporting
- Attending external meetings and liaising with clients
- Supporting work within the longevity pricing team
