Job Details
Major insurer is seeking a part-qualified actuary, ideally with reserving experience, preferably within personal lines, to assist with the end-to-end quarterly Solvency II Technical Provisions process for the UK, from the data to reporting stage.
You will play a key role in the Reserving team’s input into the wider Group Finance team’s IFRS17 implementation, supporting the development and enhancement of the Solvency II Technical Provisions process.
You will also support the Reserve Reviews across Motor, Van and Household products whilst closely interacting with the capital team to assist with regular capital assessments, and feed into model developments and model use.
Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Microsoft Excel) with experience of VBA and SAS an advantage.
Good knowledge of Solvency II, including technical provisions, preferred.
