Mixed Role, Plenty of Pricing, Ethical & Technical Approach to Underwriting

Fairbank Partners seek an individual who can be either Nearly or Newly qualified GI Actuary, OR even someone who has given up the exams and has 7 years+ actuarial experience.

This role works with a variety of stakeholders in respect of pricing, business planning, reserving and capital parameterisation.

From a Pricing perspective the role will support the development of underwriter exposure rating tools and pricing platforms as well as individual account pricing and performance monitoring. 

This role works across a number of lines of business, but will play heavily into Energy, where an ethical approach has been taken to stop underwriting oil and gas within 2 years, with a new pro-active focus on renewable energies.
