Job Details
Lloyd's insurer require an experienced GI Actuary with knowledge of portfolio management, planning and strategy to lead a small team, covering a period of maternity leave.
This team works closely with underwriters as well as the Exec for planning and strategy purposes. Taking a portfolio wide view, analysing trends, understanding how the portfolio's are changing, making recommendations and presenting figures and findings. Candidates must have some management experience and it is likely you will hail from a pricing background. Consideration will be given to those candidates with other GI skillsets who can demonstrate their suitability in other ways however.
This is a fixed term contract for an initial period of 9 months that requires someone to start in the next 4 to 6 weeks, or sooner. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship and must be domiciled in the UK for tax purposes.
