Job Details
Our client is seeking a qualified non-life actuary who is immediately available for a very short-term contract supporting actuarial SII profit projection and technical provisioning.
Setting up the actual Vs expected monitoring process for SII profit projections, you will develop a capital monitoring and reporting framework, including assessing whether the current metrics to monitor capital are the most appropriate.
You will also perform (as required) the quarterly technical provisions valuations, validations, and reporting requirements, adhering to the required standards and ensuring technical provisions deliverables are met.
With proven reserving experience, the successful candidate will possess a firm grasp of actuarial valuation techniques, including those used within pricing and capital modelling.
Lloyd’s market knowledge desirable as is good knowledge of technical provisions for Solvency II alongside experience with ResQ reserving software and VBA, Access, SQL, SAS and R skills.
