Job Details

Oliver James is working with a leading Life insurance client who are looking to engage an actuarial contractor to support with Year end reporting and Solvency work.

The client is looking for an (ideally) qualified Life actuary with 5+ years experience of Financial Reporting (Solvency II, IFRS) to join a small and efficient team.

Previous experience of QRTs, Solvency monitoring and/or derivative/hedging is desirable.

This client is looking to interview and offer ideally before Christmas

Start: Feb 2022

Duration: 3 month initial contract, extension likely

Rate: £800-1000+ per day - negotiable based on Experience

Status (Inside IR35)

Desired Experience

  • Qualified Actuary - 2 years PQE or equivalent experience (more experience welcome)
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting - solvency II and IFRS
  • Knowledge of QRT and Standard Formula is beneficial
  • Good communication skills
