Permanent role

Salary: £45,000 - £70,000 per annum (Approximate Base Salary paid depending on experience)

Location: London (Hybrid working)

Goodman Masson are recruiting for a modelling actuarial analyst to improve the processes in this insurer.

This role will be interesting as it involves problem solving and making things more efficient.

The role in this team would fit people who like technology - designing new processes and challenging the use of spreadsheets.

The role will be 1/3rd support and 2/3rds development and adding on new processes.

You will be able the learn about IFRS17 Development which essentially equips you with change experience that keeps on getting you great opportunities later on.

You will be setting up model development design, UAT, building/testing, mapping out new processes and developing a structure around those new approaches with the end-user in mind.

Key Requirements:

- Part-Qualified or nearly-qualified life actuarial analyst (by exams)
- Experience of actuarial modelling (e.g. RAFM, Prophet, Tyche, etc.)
- Experience in life insurance or life insurance consulting or bulk annuities
- Strong knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Python or R/R Shiny)

- You must be eligible to work in the UK - these rules have changed recently so when applying please state your eligibility to work in the UK. (E.g. British passport, Irish passport, ILR, settled-status, etc.)
