Reserving Actuarial Analyst

A leading London market insurer is looking for a Reserving Analyst to work on the company side of the business. The role will support the Chief Actuary and involve setting reserves across the business whilst building and testing market developments to implement new strategies within the business. Depending on your experience, you may also help with the mentorship and training of more junior members of the team.

As the role develops, you can get exposure to pricing and the Syndicate side of the business, depending on your interests.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ reserving experience within the London market with knowledge of Solvency II and IFRS17 requirements. You’ll also have strong technical skills in SQL and VBA with Python and / or R being highly beneficial.
