Life Actuary - Reporting - Financial Risk - Contract

Our client, a major Life insurance company, is looking for a qualified or experienced Life Actuary to support Financial Reporting within the Financial Risk team on a 12-month parental leave cover contract.

You will join an established team to lead the production of specified financial risk metrics, providing high-quality results, supporting analysis and commentary on a timely basis.

Location: London - this is an agile role. The business would prefer 1-2 days per week in the office (central London)

Salary: up to £80,000 + 12% car allowance

Start: Ideally January 2022 (negotiable)

Duration: 12 month contract

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in one of the UKs largest Life insurance businesses. You will have the opportunity to network with senior stakeholders and have access to opportunities internally beyond this contract.

• Financial reporting
• Stakeholder management
• Team mentoring and planning
• Process improvement and change management

Desired experience

• Qualified Actuary - 7+years working experience
• Strong Financial reporting experience (IFRS, SII)
• Experience managing small teams, or mentoring actuarial students is desirable.
