Sellick Partnership have recently been engaged by a leading General Insurer as they seek to recruit a new Technical Pricing Lead to work across their Motor portfolio.

Reporting to the Pricing Director, this role will require the Technical Pricing Lead to take responsibility for all elements of Risk Pricing including the reduction of loss ratios, improving model accuracy and the implementation of Data Science techniques.

In addition to having a strong Personal Lines background the ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of building models from scratch using tools such as Emblem and a good understanding of how Machine Learning techniques can be used to automate the Pricing process.

As well as leading a small team, the Technical Pricing Lead will also have the opportunity to help set the strategic direction of the Pricing department, making this role an ideal blend of People / Project management.
