Job Details
Our client is seeking a qualified (or part-qualified) GI actuary with Lloyd’s/London Market pricing experience to provide actuarial pricing support to all underwriting divisions.
In this exciting career development role, you will be involved in a variety of workstreams including: individual risk pricing; pricing model development; outwards reinsurance analysis; profitability analysis; the production of management information; and a broad variety of pricing projects within the Actuarial department.
In addition, you will contribute to the development of key actuarial rating models – for example experience rating and treaty pricing tools, supporting the building of new rating models and the evolution of existing models.
The successful candidate will also gain exposure to capital and reserving.
With experience of leading projects and delivering success, you will have excellent IT skills – especially Excel, VBA, @Risk and SQL.
Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) R, Python or other analytical tools is essential.
