Capital Actuary - Solvency II / Climate Change

Oliver James are currently working with a client in The City of London who are looking to hire two Capital Actuaries.

This role is a specialist position where you will design, development and research a number of Actuarial policies. These will cover a wide range of topics, including Solvency II, Capital Efficiency's and Climate Change.

This team is made up of a number of senior actuaries in the Life and Non Life Insurance market but this role will primarily be focused on their Life Insurance business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded actuary who wants to be part of a team that will make a huge difference in how the Insurance market operates, particularly within climate change and other important directives set by the business.

The successful candidate will thrive upon creating solutions and leading from the front. You will be expected to work with a number of stakeholders internally and externally, this could include the Treasury, industry bodies and different regulators.

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified actuary and have a keen interest in the Insurance market. The client can also offer part time hours and home working. All interviews will be held online.
