Major insurer is seeking a part- or qualified non-life actuary to lead the end-to-end reserving process for Household and Van lines of business, from data to reporting stage.
In this key role, you will provide flexible support to ongoing projects within the reserving team, such as moving to new data systems and developing aspects of the reserving process.
You will also support the IFRS17 workstream including the review of Technical papers on best estimate reserves and future cashflows, risk adjustment and the Financial Impact Assessment outputs, to understand technical decisions made to date.
In addition, you will lead the enhancement and review of the Household and Van SII Technical Provisions model and outputs.
With reserving experience, preferably within personal lines, the successful candidate will possess excellent project management skills and be proficient in spreadsheet tools (Microsoft Excel).
Experience of VBA and SAS and of using ResQ software an advantage
Good knowledge of Solvency II, including technical provisions, preferred.
