A global non-life insurer is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join their Dublin-based Pricing and Underwriting team. This role offers competitive flexible working options and the opportunity to broaden and diversify a range of technical and actuarial skills.
About the role
The Non-Life Pricing Analyst will join the commercial lines pricing function. The pricing analyst will be a part of various exciting projects, as the company transitions to a more sophisticated pricing approach within their commercial lines business.
Responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to:
- Developing and analysing pricing models, growth metrics and product profitability using relevant techniques
- Communicating and presenting recommendations to a variety of stakeholders
- Adjusting market rates and exploring datasets to ensure performance is maximised
- Involvement in various pricing projects
Actuarial skills required
Suitable candidates for this position should have a relevant actuarial or statistics degree. Previous non-life risk pricing experience is highly desired. Strong IT skills are essential, including Excel, R, Python, and SAS.
