Validation Actuary

Fairbank Partners seek and Validation Actuary for our client, an international Specialty Insurance Group. 

The role will be responsible for the delivery of the activities of the Validation team which is primarily focused on addressing the viability of the Internal Model against the wider Risk profile. This will include the assessment of the model processes as well as the data and model results. It is imperative that the selected candidate can make sure that the work is compliant within the relevant regulatory requirements and meets the benchmark actuarial standards. The role also supports wider aspects of the Risk team’s activities including Stress Testing etc

To be considered you'll like be recently qualified or very nearly qualified, with significant relevant experience from a GI background. You'll have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and will be an excellent all-round communicator who is able to articulate complex ideas with confidence. 

The role would suit someone who is in a similar position currently, either with a London market, personal, commercial lines insurer, or someone from a consultancy background.
