Life Actuary - Actuarial Function

Our client is market leading life company looking to hire an ambitious qualified life actuary to support delivery of core oversight tasks of the Actuarial Function.

You will have oversight of the calculation of actuarial liabilities (Solvency II technical provision and the actuarial oversight of pricing, underwriting and reinsurance across the UK business. You will deliver high quality and effective reporting to meet the needs of senior management and board, working closely with the Head of Actuarial Function and Deputy Chief Actuary (“DCA”) in their responsibilities to establish and maintain the actuarial governance processes and to provide overview and challenge to actuarial deliveries and to the broader activities of the business as appropriate

You will ideally have expertise in 1 or more areas within the function :

• Governance, Oversight and Reporting
• Actuarial Control Frameworks
• Reporting
• Risk Management
